Joan Baer Joins Summit fortifying the Company’s Rapidly Growing South Jersey Regional Office
Summit Drilling has announced the hiring of Joan Baer, a 25-year drilling industry veteran. Ms. Baer comes to Summit Drilling after 15 years as General Manager of another regional drilling company. Her experience there was diverse and included sales & marketing, project management, customer service, human resources development, health & safety, bids, contract negotiation and operational budgeting.
“I think the addition of Joan will be a tremendous boost for us in terms of customer satisfaction“, adds Rick Davis, Summit’s Regional Vice President of Operations – South. “Joan’s accomplishments in the field combined with her experience in operations will provide customers with a highly experienced individual who can discuss technical aspects about our services and equipment while resolving potential challenges in the field effectively. As we continue to grow, this is the type of individual our customers can count on.”

As Summit’s newest Sr. Project Manager, Ms. Baer brings extraordinary knowledge to Summit Drilling’s fast growing South Jersey operation. “The decision to make a move after 24 years with the same company was difficult. In the last quarter of 2013, the company promoted Tory Donnelly to Executive Vice President & COO. “Summit is continuing to grow and change”, offers Ms. Donnelly. “We began by addressing the tough questions.
